Violin & Piano Duo. Two concerts “B-s through the eras”

19th of November at 6 pm  and 21st of November at 3 pm

Two concerts “B-s through the eras” where two sisters Marike and Ave Kruup  are playing some of the best works written for violin and piano.

The Kruup Violin & Piano Duo played together for the first time in the spring of 2013, as part of the 5th Heino Eller International Violin Competition, where sisters Marike and Ave Kruup were respectively awarded a Finalists Diploma and a Diploma for “Best Accompanist”.

Encouraged by the positive critiques surrounding their performances, they have worked together since and now having recitals regularly in south of France, UK and Estonia. Ave working and living in Nice and Marike living and studying in London is definitely a thing that gives them more options and makes their career colorful and wide ranged.

Program for both of the concerts is:
L. van Beethoven – Sonata for Piano and Violin No. 3 in E flat major Op. 12

I  Allegro con spirito
II Adagio con molto espressione

III Rondo

B. Bartok – 6 Rumanian Dances

J. Brahms – Violin Sonata No. 3 in D minor Op. 108
I  Allegro
II  Adagio
III  Un poco presto e con sentimento
IV  Presto agitato
